Digital Marketing Specialist (Organic SEO Specialist)
PURPOSE: This role is responsible for delivering and scaling personalized and optimized experiences to drive business growth across all digital properties. This role will be in-office (Plano, TX) Monday through Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- SEO Management: Subject matter expert for SERPs and website best practices as it relates to all Rent-A-Center brands
- Organic traffic generation and ongoing management execution & facilitation
- SEO content strategy planning, link building, and keyword strategy
- FAQ Management: Execute monthly optimizations for site search based on keywords and content searches
- Conduct quarterly SEO reviews across all RAC Brands to present learnings and opportunities for alignment with partners and internal teams
- Google My Business Listing Management for Rent-A-Center
- Strategy and implementation of review requesting strategies for Rent-A-Center to enhance brand reputation
- Review online language and brand alignment; determine accuracy, reliability; and conformance to online and brand standards
- Strong, analytical mindset to analyze first-party data that will be used to enable enhancements as it relates to payments and authenticated space
- Advocate, lead and execute retention enhancements during each sprint cycle via evaluation, requirements, UX/UI and testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather business, user and system requirements on a consistent basis
- Review and create new or modified UX, including documentation, diagram, and flow chart, to determine if the site will perform according to user requested enhancements, changes and conform to brand guidelines
- Recommend and define online UX improvements to leadership, present and develop accurate reporting
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate has experience with Agile methodology
- Ideal candidate has experience with SAP Hybrls/Salesforce commerce could and A/B Testing tools
- Candidate has experience working with cross functional teams Including but not limited to third party agencies, operations and IT
- Candidate must have strong verbal and written communications with ability to present to senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or related field
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience In Marketing, Operations or IT
- In depth knowledge of online promotion to online sales closure and process flows specifically pertaining to sales best practice standards
- Knowledge of online brand management & alignment with business needs
- Solid Vizlo, PowerPolnt, Excel and all other office suite products
- Online customer sales experience required; online retail preferred
- Comfortable with using Adobe Photoshop for UX refinement, making wires, comps, etc
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to act quickly and maintain focus under pressure
- Must be highly organized and very detail oriented
- Friendly with outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hybris/Salesforce content management or other CMS systems and google GA4 analytics experience a plus
