ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Digital Marketing and Personalization, to lead promotions, personalization, and ecommerce focused marketing experiences across web and mobile channels. As Upbound continues to scale its digital ecosystem, this role will shape how customers discover, engage with, and respond to relevant offers and content throughout their journey. You will own the product strategy and execution for capabilities that drive engagement, conversion, and revenue, partnering closely with Marketing, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Data teams to deliver scalable and data-informed solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the digital product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Promotions, Personalization, and ecommerce marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Define and enhance personalization frameworks, including audience segmentation, recommendation logic, content targeting, and experimentation, to deliver relevant customer experiences across web and app.
Identify and drive innovation in marketing technology, supporting automation, experimentation, AI-driven personalization, and dynamic campaign orchestration.
Partner closely with Marketing, Engineering, Design, and Analytics teams to build scalable, high-impact solutions that drive engagement, conversion, and revenue growth.
Define clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and experience flows, and collaborate closely with UX to design customer-first ecommerce experiences.
Lead the development, launch, and iteration of enhancements across the web platform.
Use customer insights, behavioral data, and performance metrics to guide product decisions and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
Establish and track KPIs for promotions and personalization capabilities, communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Lead prioritization across competing initiatives, balancing speed to market, technical feasibility, and long-term platform value.
Evaluate performance using analytics, experimentation, SEO insights, and platform metrics to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and drive improvements in conversion, discoverability, and site health.
Communicate progress, results, and insights clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
3–6 years of experience in digital product management, with meaningful ownership of ecommerce, promotions, personalization, or marketing platform capabilities.
Strong fluency in customer data, audience segmentation, personalization logic, and experimentation.
A solid understanding of software development and the ability to write clear, actionable requirements for engineering.
Comfort using data to influence decisions, including funnel analysis, feature impact measurement, and KPI tracking.
Understanding of AI/ML-driven personalization or recommendation systems, with the ability to partner effectively on logic and outcomes.
Proven experience owning products from idea through launch and continuous iteration in fast-paced environments.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
