JOB PURPOSE:

The Sr. CRM Platform & QC Marketing Specialist will effectively manage the implementation and optimization of CRM channels including email, SMS, push, and direct mail. This role blends CRM platform execution with data fluency to drive measurable lifts in engagement, conversion, and retention across channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure, execute, and maintain omni‑channel journeys, promotional and transactional campaigns across email, SMS, push, direct mail, and in‑app to deliver timely, personalized and dynamic messages powered by our CDP (Zeta Marketing Platform). 
  • Develop deep knowledge of Rent-A-Center first‑party data and business rules to accurately build, validate, and troubleshoot campaign audiences.
  • Adhere to customer data governance standards and support responsible use of customer information.
  • Support CRM execution workflows by preparing audience files, verifying business rules, and coordinating data transfers between marketing platforms.
  • Validate campaign configuration, audience logic, and deployment setup against business requirements to ensure accurate execution.
  • Configure and support personalized messaging using templating/scripting (e.g., AMPscript, Liquid) and real-time data; set up, QA, and monitor automations and triggered campaigns.
  • Ensure campaigns deploy accurately and on time and communicate and troubleshoot with urgency when needed to assist in root cause analysis.
  • Safeguard deliverability and compliance by managing list hygiene, audience suppressions, and opt-outs. Maintain awareness of SPF/DKIM/DMARC and other deliverability best practices while ensuring adherence to CAN-SPAM, GDPR/CCPA, TCPA, and SMS compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product pods, Data Services, Personalization, Legal, and CRM teammates to translate business asks into data requirements and flawless execution. 
  • Continuously improve processes, tooling, and QA to increase speed, quality, and reliability of every launch.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
    • 4–5+ years hands‑on lifecycle/CRM/email experience in Digital Advertising and/or Marketing including database marketing in a fast‑paced environment, with strong project management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
    • ESP/CRM proficiency (e.g., Zeta Marketing Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, HubSpot) including experience configuring dynamic content and personalization using AMPscript, Liquid, or similar scripting syntax.
    • SQL for marketing: Demonstrated ability to write, modify, and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries for audience creation, segmentation, data validation, QA, and customer targeting.
    • Deliverability & compliance know‑how (SPF/DKIM/DMARC; CAN‑SPAM/GDPR/CCPA; TCPA/10DLC for SMS). 
    • Meticulous attention to detail and brand stewardship from build to deployment with a strong focus on quality assurance. 
    • Strong communication, organization, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Professional and positive demeanor in all interactions.
    • This position is in-office (Monday through Friday) in Plano, TX.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience orchestrating omni‑channel 1:1 programs and dynamic content across multi‑brand portfolios.
    • Working knowledge of AI‑assisted workflows for content, QA, or decisioning (with human‑in‑the‑loop controls). 
    • Basic front‑end fluency beyond email (landing pages, tracking/UTMs) and light API/webhook literacy.
