Manager, CRM Platform
Job Purpose: Proactively manage the implementation and optimization of all 1:1 CRM channels by ensuring best in class campaign execution in Upbound’s CDP. Be an expert in Upbound customer data and how it can be effectively applied to build CRM campaigns to be able to take a business request and translate the data requirements in the CDP to execute a campaign. Manager will lead a team of direct reports supporting Upbound brands, including Rent-A-Center, Acima, Get It Now, and Home Choice. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the data strategy and execution of cross-brand marketing Upbound initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a team to deliver omni-channel CRM experiences in direct marketing/1:1 channels (email, direct mail, text messaging, push, including orchestration across channels)
- Create mass personalized experiences to increase the value exchange between our brands and our consumers using dynamic content. Leveraging CDP data, CLTV, and Next Best Product models.
- Be the subject matter expert for promotional and transactional campaign execution in Upbound’s CDP by being able to translate business requests into data requirements to inform list building, audience targeting, automation, deployment and monitoring across all brands.
- Collaborate with Marketing channel leads, Data Services, Web Services, and CDP/Agency partners to support the data setup in the CDP so that it meets the needs for seamless campaign execution and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Additional duties as assigned, including supporting requests for additional channels
- Stay informed on industry trends, plus direct competitor activities
- Mentor, coach and manage marketing team members to maximize their potential and growth
- Learn and grow in your one-to-one marketing expertise, and become a leader in your functional area and beyond
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years marketing experience with strong project management skills and undergraduate degree
- 5+ years' experience executing CRM campaigns in an ESP/CDP. Experience in Zeta Marketing Platform a plus
- Strong project management skills and proficiency in SQL
- Strong understanding of leveraging 1P data and utilizing big data and tables
- Experience managing agencies or small teams
