Human Resources Generalist

 

Job Purpose: The Human Resources Generalist I is responsible for providing support in planning and administering human resources activities for the designated business operations unit.  The HR Generalist I is also responsible for managing aspects of Human Resource programs and projects as well as working with HR leadership to execute aspects of the HR function through assisting with the implementation of HR strategies, initiatives, and programs that effectively support the company’s mission and core values.  Areas of focus include compliance, reporting & analytics, and coworker engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provides guidance and support to field management as it relates to Company policies and programs, new coworker on-boarding, and talent training and development
  • Performs HR reporting and data analysis to make recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Assists with coworker engagement activities
  • Works to continuously improve all internal employment related programs, projects, processes, policies and practices to achieve a best-in-class human resources offering to all customers   
  • Stay aware of current laws (federal, state, and local) regarding HR practices.
  • Performs additional projects/duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Three to five years of Human Resources experience required
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong critical thinking skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred, not required.
  • Ability to operate in a changing environment
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Able to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong presence and ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Ability to work in office (Plano, TX) Monday through Friday
