JOB TITLE: BI Architect

JOB DUTIES: Create Semantic layer in BI using Snowflake and Power BI. Run Power shell scripts to monitor jobs. Monitor few Python scripts, which uses Power BI API to refresh Dataset. Create Data models. Use Data lakes, Azure one lake concepts. Write Advanced DAX, M-code. Write Dynamic measures and computing groups. Create Data flows gen2 for improved performance. Design Architecture diagrams the helps to understand application integrations across the multiple platforms. Gather Business requirements, convert them to functional / technical requirements preparing Standard operating procedures. Guide the team with Best practices, assuring all safety and to take care of the best practices.

Supervises 4 employees – BI Developers

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in information technology and management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience as a Power BI professional developing and designing reports and in-built code software. 3 years of experience to include: BI Report development, Power BI, Power shell scripts, Snowflake, DAX, M code, T-SQL, Sharepoint list, Data Studio, Power BI embedding, BI Analytics, Data Analysis, Database development, SQL, PL|SQL, Windows servers, Azure Data pipelines, Azure, AWS, SSIS, and SSRS; Converting Business requirements to Technical Requirement and architecting the solutions; Managing large scale Power BI landscape and architecting Semantic layers and self-service.
